Once again we all here to welcome new promising & challenging academic session 2009-10 .In an era of continuous and competitive emergence of new institutes of higher learning – especially new universities in both public and private sectors, taking the responsibility as VC of a state university naturally puts a tremendous weight of expectations and responsibilities.
In this scenario, Vice-Chancellorship no more remains a mere
privilege but also becomes a daunting responsibility. I have humbly taken this responsibility both as a privilege and an opportunity to make a difference.
On this beginning of new academic session , I reaffirm my resolve to take Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University to higher orbit of knowledge and social responsibility with the cooperation of all my students and colleagues.
We have given ourselves a new mantra "Impossible is impossible". We have decided to move beyond the mere geographical and acquire a truly global presence. We want to lead by doing, and we will shine by achieving. We too want to soar very high but staying linked to the roots.
I wish and dream that every individual member of this university finds in it a genuine reflection of her/his academic and professional aspirations.
